IMPORTANT INFORMATION LISTED BELOW
ACCOUNT NUMBER CONVERSION
Southwest Louisiana Credit union is currently undergoing a Member Number Conversion. However, this will not affect most of your current services in any way. Your current checks will clear correctly, so you will not receive new checks. Your electronic transactions, such as direct deposit, payroll deduction, and automatic drafts from your accounts will clear correctly. You do not need to contact your employer or any merchants you do business with, to change the account number. Your Visa Check Card, and/or Visa Credit Cards will continue to work, so you will not receive new cards or PIN Codes.
This conversion will be to convert all current members to the new 10-digit Member Number. The conversion will occur on Saturday, August 15th. Your new number will be provided to you through your Member Statements, so be sure to check your upcoming statements carefully.
The two services that will be directly affected by the Member Number Conversion are CU@Home NetBranch and Audio Response Teller. Beginning August 15, 2009, the new 10-digit Member Number will be required. All current users of these 2 services will receive additional information as we near the conversion date.

such as Social Security, Account, Debit or Credit Card Numbers !

With the convenience of technology unfortunately comes the increased risk of fraud. Recently a large processing firm
reported that it may have been the victim of a large data breach. In an effort to be proactive, the Visa cards that were
reported were cancelled and a new card was issued alongwith a notification letter.
With this practice. Our goal is to prevent any of our members from becoming a victim of fraud. We apologize for any
inconvenience that this may have caused but we feel that this was necessary to protect our members.
