 Only members of the Southwest Louisiana Credit Union are eligible for the Southwest Louisiana Credit Union VISA Classic or VISA Platinum credit cards. This does not include joint owners of accounts. For a member to have their own VISA card they must be a member in their own right (or must have their own primary share savings account). The primary member of an account can allow the joint owner of the account to sign on his/hers VISA card account.
The maximum number of cards issued for a joint user account shall be 2. Card replacement fee will be $5.00 per card.
The interest rate for the Southwest Louisiana Credit Union VISA Classic cards will be set and monitored by the Board of Directors. At the present time the rate for our VISA Classic card is 11.9% *APR fixed the rate for our VISA Platinum card is 8.0%* APR fixed. The minimum monthly payment is 2% of the outstanding balance or $20. College graduate pre-approval program. Any member that is a new graduate or has graduated in the last 6 months qualifies for this program. Call the credit union to get more information.
